The Swingdamonium string quartet plays a musical style sometimes
referred to as “Gyspy jazz”. The repertoire includes mostly American
and European jazz tunes from the 1930-1950s, as well as tunes we
collect that seem to simply “fit our style ” of playing – - – the main
requirement being that the melody is catchy, and listeners will want
to tap their toes to our beat.
